Masala Chai Recipe | Version 2.0

Ingredients for Masala Chai:

  • Water 3 c
  • Milk 1c
  • Tea 3 tsps
  • Cardamom 4
  • Cloves 3
  • Pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Cinnamon 1-inch stick
  • Fresh ginger 1-inch piece
  • Sugar 1 tsp

Preparation Method for Masala Chai:

  • Mix milk and water and bring to a rolling boil.
  • Take all spices and crush well.
  • Add to the boiling water and milk and continue on low flame. Add a spoon of sugar and the tea powder.
  • Boil for about 5 minutes till you get a rich golden brown colour.
  • Strain into cups and add sugar as per your taste.
